low resolution image Not Enlargeable Last week took us from the mountains of Western Maryland to the shores of the Outer Banks, from Hagerstown to Kill Devil Hills, a couple plces steeped in aviation tradition. What does that have to do with anything? Well ... I'll tell you why 'cuz planes were made to fly and that rhymes w/ "Phi ... Psi" which is where we'll be on Fri ... (ok that's enuff o' that ... sorry) ... day. Anyway it's our annual jaunt over to that bastion of intellectual overachievement and the lacrosse capital of the free world (right here in Charm City), Johns Hopkins, for our annual party with the boys of Phi Psi and friends. This is ALWAYS a good time. Unfortunately that's a private party so most of ypou will have to miss this one. Then on Saturday we're honored to play the wedding of some loyal fans. Unfortunately that's also off limits to most of the you phat blues heads. However ... if you happen to live in Philly (or want to make the trip) you can catch us as part of a multi-band show at the historic North Star! We haven't played in the City of Brotherly Love in a minute so we're real excited about this show. Come on out and make our return a party. Get your weekend started with us early Thursday night in Philly!! Until we meet again ... PEACE!!!

low resolution image Not Enlargeable We had a great weekend at Sweet Caroline's in Winchester, VA. and a rare hometown show at 8 x10 in Fed Hill was off the hook. What a great honor to share the stage with the legendary Carl Filipiak and his fabulous band. Then Monday we celebrated St. Pat's Day during our first time at Magerk's. It was an awesome show and the folks there treated us great. This week we head out west to Hagerstown and Kahuna's before journeying south to the Outer Banks of NC and the OBX Brewing Station. Don't forget that any time now the new double live set is gonna drop followed shortly the new live DVD shot at Dr. Unks in Greenville, NC. We can't wait to get these out to our fans. Thanks for supporting the KBB and phat blues for these last 13 years.

low resolution image Not Enlargeable With only one show, last week was one of the band's quieter ones, which is not to say that there wasn't a whole lot shakin at Mckee's Tavern at Ski Liberty. This week we take to the road for a trip out to Winchester, VA and Sweet Caroline's, the spot for phat blues, jazz and any kinda good music in the Shenandoah Valley. Then on Saturday it's a rare hometown type thang as the band heads back to where it all began all those years ago, at the Eight x Ten in Baltimore's historic Federal Hill. It'll be phat blues and jimi jazz together on the same show, as we share the stage with the one and only Carl Filipiak. We go on at 9PM. This one you won't wanna miss. Monday (St. Patrick's Day) we're at MaGerks in Bel Air, where we go on at 6PM.

One Show This Week

low resolution image Not Enlargeable Hi guys. Thanks to all who came out to a new place, Orange Ball Billiards in Rockville. We also had great shows at our Arlington home, Whitlow's, and at Meiklejohn's in Eldersburg for our second time there.

This week the KBB gets a little break with only one show. That one should be a great one however since it's our annual return to Mckee's pub at Ski Liberty. It's a little like deja vu since we were just at the Carroll Valley Resort a few weeks ago across the street for our annual visit there.

Oh and one more thing the new live album is in the home stretch as far getting it to you and the new dvd is not far behind. It won't be long now!!
